Yorkshire Man Dan and his Allotmenteers make it to the big screen!!

West End Centre

Did you see our very own Yorkshire Man Dan Flack with the crew from The West End Centre Community Allotment on the TV last night!  Yes, you heard us right we made it on to the TV doing what Yorkshire Man Dan does best, out and about Guerilla Gardening!!   We were on the Sky Max Channel at 9pm a programme called Hold The Front Page, Josh Widdicombe and Nish Kumar came to Bradford to find some good news stories around the area, one of which was the big clean up around Bradford.   We were asked to go along and support the event in BD5 which involved a team of litter pickers and gardeners.  Our team did the gardening, which involved preparing beds, planting new plants, and planting hanging baskets to be put up around the area.   Our team had a fantastic day and as always Scruff was on hand to provide his help and support, unfortunately he didn’t make it on to the big screen!  Next time Scruff, Hollywood awaits you.

Some great photos of the day we are sharing with you.
