Working together to look after our wellbeing.

West End Centre

This week is mental health awareness week.

Being active is not just good for our physical health but also good for our emotional and mental health.  This week why not priorities your wellbeing and come and join us at our community allotment for a dose of wellbeing, fresh air, friendship, new skills, gentle exercise surrounded by nature.  The allotment is run by our very own Yorkshire Man Dan along with his side kick Scruff the much-loved therapy dog! The allotment is based at Sunnybank Road BD5 8NB Thursday 10am – 1.30pm.

At the centre on a Thursday at 1 – 3pm Diana runs a gentle exercise is and mindfulness group Starting with a cuppa and conversation then 10 minutes of mindfulness, followed by relaxation exercises and gentle movements led by Rodney.

These groups run every Thursday open to all, if you would like to know more come into the centre or give us a call on 07592003595.
