Wednesday Workout

West End Centre

For the past 22 months our Wednesday lunch club grew wheels and we delivered a two course lunch out into the community. With restrictions easing we took the decision to bring the lunch club back into the centre with a smaller group than before the pandemic to keep people safe. Those in the community that are unable it get out are still having a lunch delivered.

It was great to see people back together having a cuppa, playing games or having a good old natter to catch up with all the the news. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch and the company. Dan enjoyed it so much he couldn't resist licking the plate clean! Scruff the lurcher visited us again to say hello to everyone he was as friendly as ever and really enjoyed all the attention but he took to his bed once the Wednesday work out started!

People had said that they wanted to do some exercise but found it boring or had little motivation to do it alone, so after lunch a group did some chair exercises with the help of YouTube and burned off some of calories and had a good laugh at the same time.

J said "that was brilliant time flew and it is so much better doing it in company than at home alone, feel better for that"

Same time next week folks!
