That time of year is fast approaching, our annual poppy making project is almost upon us.
This year we are very excited to announce that we are building on the work we have done for Bradford Light Festival and concentrating our efforts on an outdoor display.
Most of the flowers in the wildflower garden will have died back so we hope to make our very own giant Poppies. They will be made using recycled materials, so if you have any red, white or green bags or cellophane please bring them along to the centre. All donations gratefully received.
Anyone who has been involved in our poppy project before will know we like to involve everyone, you do not need to be an artist or great at crafts, we will show you what to do. This is a big project, and we really need your help to make it a success.
The project will start on Wednesday 6th September at 10am open to everyone. For those joining in the project lunch is on us!
For people not attending the project but coming to our Community Lunch Club your very welcome but there will be a charge as usual.
If you want to know more come into the centre and see us or give us a call on 07592003595.
Look forward to seeing you all.
