Our Tuesday Tea Party!

West End Centre

Our community allotment at Sunnybank road is the ideal safe space for people to meet up for a socially distanced tea party and we couldn't have picked a better day. The sun was shining and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a great opportunity for everyone to catch up with old friends and even make new ones, also putting names to faces for people that had only met on our WhatsApp groups.

As well as sharing food, conversation and a cuppa we had a "paint your own slate" activity, dug potato trenches and planted out broad beans. A very busy day.

People told us

"Once I get here I really enjoy it and don't want to leave"

"When I get here i feel at peace and relaxed"

"I had such a lovely day it was the best thing getting out and seeing people I haven't seen for over a year very relaxing, I'll be back next week"

"I feel more confident after seeing my friends at the Allotment"

Due to number restrictions all visits must be booked at the moment so If you would like to meet new people and try our allotment group please drop us a message or contact Kathryn on 07592003595.
