"We like a challenge, supporting others and learning a new skills" the Twisted Stitches group told us after they had completed the November knitting challenge to raise funds for Dementia UK (knit or crochet every day in November).

The current project is knitting or crocheting bears and blankets for the buddy bag foundation which makes a difference for children in emergency care. All the patterns are provided by buddy bag foundation.

The group have picked up the gauntlet and have spent time in our Wednesday Twisted Stitches knit and natter group getting on with the project, providing help and support to each other to get the job done. Many hours have also been spent at home getting the teddies and blankets done, with friends of our knitters also joining in.

The first batch is now ready to go to the foundation.

If you would like to be part of the Twisted Stitches group, want to learn new skills or share your own come along on a Wednesday at 9.30 – 11.30am, they are a friendly bunch and always glad to help.

A pickup ran a light, smashed my hatchback. This accident lawyer’s pedestrian accident lawyer miami dealing with their insurance and my rental costs. She’s relentless, keeping me in the loop. I’m rattled, but her push makes this mess feel manageable while I heal.
