The plant sale last Thursday was a roaring success, even better than we could have hoped! Thanks to our trusty volunteers and their excellent sales pitches we sold out of all our plants . We sold to passers by, on foot and in cars, and supporters of the centre came from far and wide. We had lots of positive comments about the quality of our plants which were all grown from seed by helpers at the allotment..
A great big thank you to everyone who supported us and what a brilliant job our team of volunteers did to raise money to keep improving our green space.
The funds raised will be used to buy an irrigation system to help keep the plants watered when we can't be there. Look out for our fruit and vegetable stall and green foodbank coming soon.....
