We woke up to snow this morning which was not expected! As always we are prepared for the unexpected and our allotment group came inside.
Making a start on planting our flower seeds, Sunflowers, Love-in-the-mist and Californian poppies. We have some first time gardeners and some more experienced gardeners. No instructions were given everyone was provided with pots, seeds and compost and now we watch and wait to see which grows the best!
P one of our first time gardeners said "I don’t like gardening but thought we would try allotment group for a change, I did some planting and enjoyed it so much and I am going to do some in my garden at home. I will be back next week."
