Be prepared! Staff and volunteers take on a First Aid Course.

West End Centre

It was time to update and learn some new first aid skills! You never know when you are going to be faced with an emergency situation. The Staff and Volunteers attended a First Aid Course on Friday with Griff from Meditrain.

First Aid is about dealing with everyday bumps and scrapes and making a difference in an emergency. Learning some key skills can really make a difference and potentially save someone's life.

We got to practise on each other from recovery position, bandages, choking treatment and used the dolls to do CPR and practise using a defibrillator.

We are pleased to say we all passed the course!

A couple of thank yous. Thanks to Griff for getting us all through the course and thanks to Ela for making lunch for us all

Jollof Rice and Chicken we all really appreciated that!

Have a laugh at some of our photos practising various tasks!
