Wheat to Wild Flowers !

West End Centre

Gardening and growing is all about experimenting and trying new things, Dan decided to do just this with a bit of land on the community allotment. The ground was prepared and wheat seeds were scattered and just left to be watered by the rain ... hey presto a colourful patch of wild flowers! it maybe the wild flower seeds were there from previous years and never grown! The bees and insects are loving it.

These are some common wild flowers you will see whilst out and about, can you name them? Why not send us a photo if you see any if you can. Enjoy!
